The Prometheus Core licence in brief

This licence applies to Prometheus Core. You license the exercises in sets.

What you may do

• Store the exercises in your own systems, including systems that hosting providers operate on your behalf.
• Convert, embed, display and print the exercises without changing their content.
• Show the exercises to learners, teachers and examiners. You may use them in your own products, in your teaching and in your examinations, including through institutions that your customers operate or use.

What you may not do

• Change the content of an exercise.
• Make the exercises available in a way that allows others to retrieve them in large numbers, or publish a set or a large part of one.
• Use the exercises to build a competing collection of exercises.
• Infer how our generator works from the exercises.
• Use the exercises to train, fine-tune, test or evaluate machine learning systems or generative systems, or to develop software that generates exercises, unless mandatory law permits this.
• Remove markings that we may place in a set for tracing purposes.

What the guarantee of correct solutions covers

We guarantee that the answer marked as correct is mathematically correct, in the source language stated in your order form. If such an answer is wrong, we will correct the exercise or remove it.

The guarantee does not cover wrong answer options, the explanations, translations or the presentation of the exercises after conversion.

Delivery and storage location

By default, we deliver every set in JSON or XML. On request, we also support other formats, for example SCORM packages. We store and host the sets for download in Europe (Switzerland).

Contract and applicable law

Austrian law applies. Only the contract signed by both parties is binding. It is written in English, and the English text prevails. We send it to you with the quotation.
